Welcome to the web site of Elliott Baker. For the last twenty years Elliott has endeavored to create pieces of theatre intended to temporarily lift us from the everyday to the joy filled world of the imagination.  Not everyone needs to be either the hero or the villain, but we all want a distinct part to play.  In reference to THE ADVENTURES OF DOCTOR DOLITTLE, Joanne Lamun, Executive Producer of the Peanut Butter Players, Lafayette, CO said it best:  

                “Our double cast of 200 kids loved performing Doctor Dolittle.  There are so many good parts – it is not a “four lead, large chorus” show.  The songs are distributed among many characters and easily learned by youngsters 5-18. Audiences delighted in the humor.”

 In his music, where melody rules, and his characters, where dignity doesn’t, Elliott has crafted a body of theatre that will entertain young and old and all in between.
